ATLAS  IMOULA

Atlas Imoula is a small and comfortable guest house in a serene mountain setting in the Toubkal National Park. Just over an hour’s drive from Marrackech on the road to Tachdirt Valley, the guest house is located in the trekking base village of Imlil and is surrounded by the peaks of the High Atlas Mountains. No matter which direction you venture in, our doorstep is a trail-head into every degree of Toubkal’s most stunning terrain.

 

The wild nature and breath taking location of this place, combined with the warm nature of its people, help you understand that “marhaba“ (welcome)  is more than an expression, it’s our way of life here and you can always be sure of a warm welcome and a peaceful stay in this idyllic setting.

 

Family owner and run, our cosy Atlas Mountain retreat offers a true escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, with all the modern comforts and added charm of traditional Moroccan hospitality. Guest house  Atlas Imoula features cosy and neat accommodation in 6 beautiful and colourful Berber-style guestrooms with private bathrooms. There are 4 standard double rooms and our other rooms can accommodate families are larger groups of travellers. Our other facilitates include free wifi, large dining room with a fire place, a roof terrace with panoramic views over Imlil Valley, several patios and a salon where you can take your aperitif, check your emails, or have a game of cards. Behind the building is a beautiful  garden with apple, cherry and walnut trees. If you whish you can have your meals there too and enjoy the nature.

We are renowned for the cuisine in our restaurant where we offer an innovative Moroccan fusion based on local produce and flavours, a surprising change from the usual fare of tagine and couscous. We are happy to provide you with simple but delicious lunches and in the evening we offer guests a varied menu which changes daily. We even offer  Moroccan cookery courses in small groups where you will learn the basics of the Moroccan kitchen like cooking couscous, Tajine and other traditional meals. 

 

As part of our services we are able to advise our guests on where to go and what to do, it is our pleasure to help our guests to organise their holidays and have the best experience our beautiful country of Morocco can offer. From Atlas Imola you can take a number of excursions including to the Imnane Valley, the Azaden Valley, take a mule ride around the Berber villages or if you want a more challenging experience we can help you organise a trek to the summit of Tounkal, the highest mountain in North Africa. Looking to venture further afield? We can also help to organise tours to the Sahara Desert, the Atlantic Coast and to the Imperial Cities. If you need an airport transfer we will also be happy to arrange this for you.
